Screw surface inspection is divided into two types: inspection before electroplating and inspection after electroplating, i.e., inspection after the screws have been hardened and surface-treated. Before electroplating, screws need to be inspected for dimensions, tolerances, and other aspects to see if they meet national standards or customer requirements. After surface treatment, the electroplated screws need to be inspected, mainly checking the plating color and for any defective screws.

The appearance inspection of screws involves examining the overall appearance and the plating layer.
